People in Hollywood recently viewed the worst scenario that could happen to one of them. A big star died the other day. Someone else had the nerve to "step" on her death with their own. Farrah Fawcett had a great career and touched a lot fo folks with her illness over the last couple of years. All of that fell away the afternoon of her death when Michael Jackson expired, too. It isn't enough that she was a big star, Michael Jackson was a big, a huge star and he had that extra added punch of having controversy to go with it. I just heard a Spike Lee interview on NPR in which he said that people were mentioning the controversy way too much. Well, without it, Michael Jackson and Farrah Fawcett would be sharing a funeral marquis, instead of having all the spotlight focus on him. In Hollywood, which do you think he would have preferred? Yup. Spotlight. So, just remember, stars of any magnitude, pick your last date carefully or you may miss the evening news, altogether.
