I kept thinking that I must have something wrong with me, something like fibromyalgia. I seemed to be tired all the time, my bones ached and my joints. There had to be an explanation for it. Now, as I compile information about adrenal fatigue, I can see how it all makes a lot of sense. I know people with fibromyalgia and I know that it is recognized by insurance companies as a real illness, adrenal fatigue isn't. If insurance companies say it isn't so, then doctors can't say it is. If they do, they won't get paid and so much of their income comes directly from the insurance companies that they can't afford to rock the boat. Luckily, once you have some knowledge about the condition, you start by taking better care of yourself and being aware of what you are doing and what you are putting in your body. So, yes, fibromyalgia can be treated by a doctor. Follow their instructions but start trying to follow some guidelines for adrenal fatigue and I'll bet the symptoms for both improve.
