Another day another mass murder. Thanks to our beloved elected officials, no meaningful policies are in place to even begin to slow the carnage down. They do have sore arms though, from toting all that money in great big bags, up the stairs to the safes they had built in to their voter paid quarters.
The NRA has a registration of 5 million people and lots of them aren't on board with their tactics. There are over 316 million Americans here, why are the politicians kow-towing to the NRA? Why is our country swathed in blood in order to keep the gun makers in big fat stackes of money? They say it is because of the 2nd amendment that we can't make any new changes in how we treat guns in our country. Despite the fact that it clearly states, "A Well Regulated Militia", the NRA continues to terrorize anyone who would try to make a new law about guns or ammo. In actual fact, the NRA is a beard for the gun makers of America. What started out as a legitimate group of gun owners, promoting gun safety and celebrating the freedom we have to own and use guns. Now, with their obstructing and posturing, they prevent any meaningful discussion in our war torn, bullet ridden country. Every time there is an incident where people or children are randomly mowed down, they jump in and stir up the radical base they have been cultivating. They tag team with their friends at Fake News and get all the skin heads, mentally ill and misinformed all riled up. They run down and buy up all the guns and ammo they can find. Sometimes they are knee deep at Walmart and Sportsmans Warehouse, buying everythin they can lay their hands on. Sometimes, these esteemed retailers run completely out of play toys. Darn it! Hurry and restock, Obummer is trying to take our guns away!
So the gun makers have become rich of late. As rich as the bankers, the big family retailers, the politicians, (yes, them!) the upper crust we so lovingly call the "1%". Nothing we can do, you say? Well, there is that old story of Marie Antoinette. Remember her? "Let them eat cake", she said. The peasants of that age, (aka the 99%) knew how to handle these things, didn't they?
